These tacos can be on the table in 15 minutes. Add your favorite toppings: shredded cabbage, salsa, lime, avocado, cheese…just don’t forget the white sauce!
1 lb mild white fish (I use tilapia)
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 lime, juiced
1 jalapeño, minced
1 tsp capers, minced
1/2 tsp Mexican oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp dried dill
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Toppings: shredded cabbage, pepper jack cheese, peach salsa, avocado, limes, cilantro….whatever you like!
Mix yogurt, lime juice, jalapeño, capers, and spices. Set aside.
NOTE: the longer the sauce sits, the spicier it gets!
Heat grill pan to medium high heat. Grease pan lightly with olive oil. Season fish with salt and pepper. Grill until cooked through.
Place fish on tortilla. Add your favorite toppings and a big scoop of white sauce. Enjoy!
